AROUND 185K DRUG SURRENDERERS GRADUATED FROM GOV'T RECOVERY AND WELLNESS PRORGAM





During the Philippine National Police and the Presidential Communications Operations Office  #RealNumbers press briefing in Camp Crame, in lieu with the reported casualties in anti-drug war of the administration, PNP also revealed the real numbers of  184,252 drug surrenderers have graduated from the government’s Recovery and Wellness Program across the country.



PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde said between the duration of July 1, 2016 to April 30, 2018, there were 79,099 surrenderers who graduated from the PNP-initiated RWP and 105,153 from supported community centers.
PNP Internal Affairs Service also disclosed that out of the real number 302 uniformed personnel and eight non-uniformed personnel have tested positive for illegal drugs, and 265 have been dismissed from the service.
