DUTERTE REINFORCED THE LAW PROHIBITING FOREIGNERS ON PHL RALLIES AS WAS APPROVED THEN DOJ SEC. DE LIMA

President Rodrigo R. Duterte said the government only enforced the BI order approved by then-Justice Secretary and now Senator Leila De Lima in 2015 that prohibits foreigners from participating in rallies.

Duterte confronted the call for Catholic Bishops' of the Philippines (CBCP) through his colleagues in San Beda College to revoked  the order Bureau of Immigration's (BI) relating to the expulsion Sis. Patricia Fox in lieu to her alleged participation PHL political rallies.
Duterte therefore rejected the plead of his comrades and thus instill his authority about foreigners engaging partisan political agenda in the PHL. He said “Sabi ko anybody can criticize me. Huwag lang foreigner,” (I tell everyone can criticized me . But not with foreigners) Duterte said.
He ended challenge the CPCPs, “Nandun sa NPA [New People’s Army] Pababain mo ‘yon. Sobra-sobra tayo ng madre. Ang mga pari kay nakikinig baka magalit sa atin,” (They are in the NPA's, Let them come here. We so much nuns here [city]. The priests are listening, they might get angry."
