RECOUNT: LENI HAVE ONLY 21,000 VOTES HIGHER THAN BONGBONG, PET DISCLOSES





Vice President Leni Robredo won the vice presidential race in 2016 elections with 14,418,817 votes over former Sen. Bongbong Marcos 14,155,344 votes with a thin difference of 263,473 votes.
The lead in questioned after Bongbong filed a complaint establishing the 2016 poll is fraud and manipulated. After the Presidential Electoral Tribunal recognized the merit of the motion, month in time the voting material now reach in a thin line of 21,000 votes.



PET therefore used the mandated 50% counting mechanism abolishing the request of VP Robredo's camp petition for 25%.
The revisors completed the manual recount of votes in 16 towns of Camarines Sur. They have yet to complete the revision in 17 more towns and two cities in Robredo’s home province.
