FORMER COUNCILOR IN NAGA CITY SAYS THAT ILLEGAL DRUG TRADE IS IN THE CITY FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS








A former city councilor of Naga confirms the allegations of President Rodrigo Duterte that once the city was the "hotbed" of illegal drugs in the region. Luis Ortega said that the illegal drug trade in the city has been in the business, booming in more than 10 years.


At least 13 Barangays have been penetrated and revealed that until now the "hotbed" still in the market despite the assertive call of the administration to direct the local officials to put an end of this dangerous sale.

He added that in his term, the loopholes should be blamed to the operating officials for being sluggish in implementing the President's top campaign to stop the crimes especially done in drug addiction and drug lords.




Ortega in an interview disclosed that naturally the Naga City would definitely feel saddened insult and disgust to Duterte after calling the city as the drug den in the region.  

But exposed that Butch Robredo, present Naga City Mayor, brother of former DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo was involved in the Drug business in the City. Late Jesse Robredo is the husband of now the Vice-President Leni Robredo.

VP Robredo denied the allegations of President Duterte after he exposed his statement but in silence after Ortega revealed her brothers-in-law involvement with illegal drugs.
